Testimonials

"For the past four years, year four students at Mansfield State School have had the benefit of Damien Kee’s expertise during exciting, collaborative and rewarding Lego robotics sessions. After our school acquired some robots in 2012, we attended one of Damien’s professional development days, where we gained the skills and confidence to start using robotics as part of our technology program. Our students love his visits and his influence is felt long after the sessions are over, particularly in the students’ ability to discuss how they can improve their programming and their desire to keep trying until they succeed. We consider his workshops with the students an essential part of our program each year.

Damien is very professional, both in his attitude and in the marvellous way in which he works with our students. His enthusiasm for his subject is infectious and he is always willing to provide assistance if we need it. We continually recommend him to people who ask about Lego robotics, Scratch, or any other school programs that he offers."
Mansfield State School

"In the past two years, we have been extremely fortunate to have Damien visit our junior school robotics co-curricular group for a number of full and half day workshops. His wealth of knowledge and expertise allows him to tailor each workshop to the specific skill level and interests of the students (and teachers) and ensures that everyone is engaged and challenged. Each workshop is structured with explicit instruction of a skill which then moves to more challenging activities, requiring the students to apply their problem solving skills. Damien’s depth of knowledge and instruction is excellent. We thoroughly enjoy his workshops and hope to learn more in the future. "

"Through the Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA), Damien has work with hundreds of students and teachers from across with State, all with varying levels of robotic and programming experience. The feedback we receive from Damien’s workshops are always full of praise and appreciation, not only for his endless professional knowledge but also for his adaptable teaching style and ease of delivery."
